Outpouring in Our Day Conference

A conference on the Presence & Power of the Holy Spirit

This conference, presented by Healing Care Ministries, will be held May 5-9, 2010 at Faith Fellowship Church in Macedonia, Ohio.  The conference is specifically for those serving in vocational Christian ministry.  However, lay people are welcome if they register with their pastor.  The conference purpose is to provide an event where God's leaders can receive a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit for life & ministry.

Outpouring in Our Day

 

“What is this event all about?”  (A message from Terry Wardle)

 

I was sitting in prayer last May when I had a deep sense that the Lord was speaking to me. The topic was the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, and the people were pastors and servants, like myself, who are ministering the gospel of the Kingdom to broken people. I sensed the Lord calling me to provide a place, an event, an opportunity where ministers of various backgrounds and callings could come and receive a fresh touch of the Holy Spirit. For refreshment. For empowerment. For renewal.

 

I gathered a group of twenty or so others and we have been coming together for prayer, seeking the direction of the Lord on this matter. As an outgrowth of our times together, and in being faithful to what I sensed the Lord saying, my organization ‘Healing Care Ministries’ is sponsoring this event, in conjunction with the team of people who have been gathering for conversation and prayer.

 

There will be times of worship at every event, led by several gifted and anointed worship leaders/teams.

 

Intensive intercessory prayer will be a regular part of the event.

 

There will be seminars, led by a wide variety of gifted men and women, aimed at positioning participants for deeper empowerment of the Lord’s Spirit.

 

Speakers, including myself, Neal May, and other servants of the Lord will bring messages around the following themes. 

  • Becoming People of the Presence
  • Positioning Ourselves for the Outpouring of God
  • Preparing for the Outpouring of God
  • The Ministry of Prayer and the Power of the Holy Spirit
  • The Father’s Promised Pentecost

Our time together will balance moving according to a prayer determined plan and being open to the serendipitous movement of the Lord.

 

Outpouring in our Day is a gathering of God’s servants, desperate for more of His presence and power. May the Lord lead you about attending with us.
